Intranasal Sprays

Intranasal Research Peptide Sprays — United States

A spray is a peptide already in solution in a metered pump. The label figure is micrograms per actuation and millilitres in the bottle, not milligrams in a vial, and the two formats should not be compared on a single number: a 10 mL spray at 100 mcg per actuation holds a different total from the vial it was filled from.

The compounds offered this way are the ones whose intranasal route is itself the subject of study. Semax and selank were developed as intranasal preparations, and their N-acetyl amidate forms are distinct compounds with modified stability, not alternative names. Oxytocin, PT-141 and kisspeptin-10 are examined intranasally in the hormonal-signaling literature for the same reason.

Each spray is filled from a powder batch that was assayed before filling, and the spray page names that batch and links its certificate. Solutions are less stable than freeze-dried solids, so the storage condition on the page is the one to follow. Supplied strictly for laboratory research, shipped domestically within the United States.

What to check before buying intranasal sprays compounds

Purity is half the number. A purity figure tells you what fraction of the powder in the vial is the compound on the label — it tells you nothing about how much powder is in the vial. A lot can assay at 99.8% purity and still be short against its labelled content.

Both numbers are published for every batch here: purity from HPLC, and measured mass against expected content. Match the batch code printed on the vial to the certificate before you rely on either.
